Chris,

Very nice rant.

One little thing about Rosetta Stone: it has at least half-dosen competitors with similar products and I once bought at Walmart (yes, I do buy my oil changes there) a comparable or better program from a competing company for just $10. Yes, $10!

I had to start learning English and then French at around 30, and know that no teacher, book or software will learn a new language for you. I guess, it finally dawned on Rosetta customers that marketing hype doesn't equal your personal results. Otherwise, all American women who bought ThighMaster would have Suzanne Somers' legs.

Well said, Chris.
